TBT (1960) - EHAA - Before East Haddam had it's own ambulance, area towns used a State Police Ambulance. Someone would have to drive all the way to Troop K in Colchester to pick it up, (if it was available) and then respond to the scene.

TBT - Feb. 1968 - The East Haddam Lions Club purchased the first ambulance for East Haddam Ambulance Association in 1968. Studying the equipment and new vehicle are ambulance committee members (l-r) Edward Wocl, John Kromish, Robert Ballek, Alan Kiley, William Jezek, Fred Gagnon and George Ryczek.
